Sophia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Texas in Arlington. Sophia has experience with counseling various age groups and populations.
As a therapist, Sophia utilizes a holistic approach with clients focusing on creating an individualized treatment plan for each client to obtain the most impact within their counseling. Sophia’s passion is working with those that have experienced Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, and Early Life Sexual Trauma. She also enjoys working with those who are making tough decisions and need assistance with Life/Business/College Coaching and Critical Thinking.
She has training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Attachment Based Therapy, Virtual Reality Immersive Therapy, Eclectic Therapy ("Multi Modal"), and Life Coaching.
